The pace of Yin is a lot slower than other styles of yoga, which is another reason why it’s not as popular as more established styles like Ashtanga or Iyengar yoga. This view is however changing and many proponents of Yin now believe that it is actually one of the oldest forms of Hatha yoga.

The primary focus of Yin yoga is to stabilize the energy in the body by focusing on the connective tissues, or fascia found deep in the soft tissues. These connective tissues, including tendons, ligaments, and aponeuroses, tend to be tight and stiff, creating a restricted body. Yin aims to loosen up these tissues, increasing their flexibility and pliability. According to the origins of the practice, the connective tissues are ‘yin’, and the muscles and blood are ‘yang’ – the two must be balanced with each other to achieve tranquility.

The origins and theory of Yin come from Taoism, which is a philosophical and religious system seeking to provide a holistic view of reality. Yin and Yang effectively diametrically oppose each other in much the same way as light and dark, or the sun and the moon. In the physical sense, Yang activities would include exercises like running, cycling or more vigorous yoga styles like Ashtanga, whereas Yin activities would be more gentle and calming. The practice of Yin yoga is seeking to counterbalance the challenges of an active lifestyle.

The purpose of the course: In the course will be the Ananda Marga Yoga system, Ananda Marga Yoga is the integrated yoga of body and mind yoga. It develops for physical relaxation, disease treatment, emotional stress adjustment, and spiritual enhancement potential. There are great benefits to the spiritual awakening course with the following characteristics:

Ananda Marga Yoga is a yoga course for all-round yoga, which is of great help to the health and improvement of the body and mind.

Understand the basic principles of yoga, you can use different combinations of yoga movements to treat and adjust different physical and mental problems.

The factors that affect the effectiveness of yoga movements are primarily the peace of mind and the stability of breathing, followed by the accuracy and softness of the movement.

Non-lacing and difficult yoga movements are a kind of yoga that enjoys complete relaxation.

From the action, develop physical and mental awareness, and better understand your physical and mental state.

Learn the full wisdom of yoga life, bring it to life and improve the quality of life.

Teaching methods and teaching methods: The yoga body yoga method is mainly used one hour and a half before the course, including warm-up exercise, yoga body yoga, yoga dance practice, body massage and big rest meditation. The body and mind yoga course will be explained in the next 30 minutes.

·       影響瑜伽動作成效的因素,首要在於心靈的寧靜與呼吸的長穩,接著才是動作的準確與柔軟。

·       不著重拉筋與困難的瑜伽動作,而是一種享受的、身心完全放鬆的瑜伽。

·       從動作中,發展對自我身心的覺察力,更瞭解自己的身心狀態。

·       學習全面的瑜伽生活智慧,將瑜伽哲學帶到生活之中,全面改善生活的品質。

授課方式及教學方法:課程前一個半小時以瑜伽體瑜伽法為主,包括暖身運動、瑜伽體位法與瑜伽舞的練習,接著是全身按摩與大休息冥想。後面三十分鐘進行身心靈瑜伽哲學課程的講解。

堂數: 每期10堂。

開課:滿三個人即開班。
